Dr. Steinberg was raised in Bartlett and graduated from Bartlett High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she majored in psychology. She graduated summa cum laude with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 2016. She completed advanced residency training in primary care and ocular disease at (ICO). During her residency, she worked in the urgent eye care services and ocular disease clinics. She now provides full-scope primary eye care with advanced training in ocular pathology. She also fits scleral contact lenses and other specialty lenses for keratoconic patients.
Throughout her training, Dr. Steinberg worked with students in several courses as a teaching assistant. She has also presented her research at national optometric meetings. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and very active in the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Steinberg resides in Winfield with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, binge watching new shows and traveling to Disney World in her spare time.
