Dr. Rina Sheth was raised in Elgin, IL and graduated from Burlington Central High School. From there she went on to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with honors in Molecular Cellular Biology and Spanish. She graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2017 and then completed an advanced residency at the Cleveland Veteran Affairs Medical Center. She has significant training in ocular disease, primary and family care, emergency care triage, and contact lenses. Dr. Sheth provides comprehensive care and has special interests in advanced ocular conditions and dry eye disease.
Dr. Sheth is also passionate about her community, serving on a number of optometric committees including the National Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and the Chicago Illini Club. Additionally, she has received multiple awards and honors both nationally and statewide. She is a member of the prestigious Gold Key Honor Society and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Sheth currently resides in Chicago, IL with her husband. She enjoys cooking, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family in her spare time. She loves all things chocolate and has an affinity for travel, having visited over 30 countries and counting.
Dr. Sheth maintains office hours in Downers Grove and Naperville.
